Who is the guy behind this blog?

well, I am Paco Bleeker.
Currently living in the Netherlands, born in the Hague, July 1993.
In the Netherlands i’ve done HAVO. Next to my school I am a certified sailing instructor at Allemansend (www.allemansend.nl) and I am the Vice chairman of the youth-council in Westvoorne. (www.westvoorne.nl/jongeren). Next to all this I have my own company, I produce and sell websites to organizations and individuals. (www.pacorb.com)

I have made concrete plans to go to South africa for 12 months.
I want to learn about myself and about the south-african culture.
What i hope to gain from this adventure is what everyone is searching for in life,

November 2010 I got in contact with YFU, Youth for understanding.
Through this organization I met Deon Mulder, the owner of the project called Ons Plek, or Our Place in Bloemfontein. I got so excited by the conversations i held with Deon through skype that I decided to apply for the project at YFU.

with all the consequences…, yes guys YFU accepted me as a member and now i’ll be leaving in two months.
i’ll be honest with you, I cannot wait till it’s the 4th of August. I am so excited.
I really want to leave the life i am living here behind me, i’m so eager to learn more about this world! i’m really fortunate to go there, oh yes I should not forget my parents,
Ilse en Loek, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity, I owe you both…

next to my parents there are my sister Katja, and little brother Julian, who both have to manage a full year without me, but that will not be a problem for them at all!
