Hi Everyone,
The past two weeks were so busy, I’ve finished my final exams.
I hope everything went well because I need to graduate to go to South-Africa!
I’ll get the results the 16th of June so I’ll keep you posted!
Next to my final exams we, my dad, brother and me, brought my mother to Düsseldorf Airport, she left the country for six weeks to South-Africa as an volunteer in Durban.
The project she goes to is Bobbi Bear, from the organization Be More.
It’s a project where children who have been abused and raped is being cared for.
I hope she’ll be okay and gets the experience she had hoped to gain from it.
I’m gonna miss her but next to that I’m probably more excited as she is…
Coming weekend I’ve got a candidate-weekend from YFU, it is a weekend were all the exchange students will meet and share their story’s with each other. Students who already have been to a foreign country as well as the new candidates, like me.
I am excited to go because I really want to know the stories of students who already have the experience of an exchange-adventure!
I’ll let you know how it all went!
